John Ramsay McCulloch was a Scottish economist, author and editor. McCulloch was appointed the first professor of political economy at University College London in 1828. Some of his extensive writing from the Classical School of Political Economy can be found at LibertyFund.
McCulloch was a co-founder and early editor of The Scotsman newspaper.
